The Last week at The OP has seen Tian Head producing a gaggle of fish. The last afternoon with Kot's Hyundai group saw so much action, they had to pull there bait out of the water to rest there arms.A good number of 20+lb fish have been seen at Gillan Point, while slack tides have produced good results close to homeJean-Claude and Marc enjoyed a father son trip of a lifetime. Sent out with F&S specialist Carl at 3 Rocks, it wasn’t long before they were knee deep in Chinook.
Jean-Claude got into it heavy and had an absolute fabulous time here at The OP. I don’t believe I have ever met a guest with more praise to give than him.
Bonnie & Brian Ogden Holding up there days prize with guide Hanes.
High fives all around to good fishing and good times!
Levi Merrill with one of his first ever Chinooks looking pretty pleased with himself.
John Kot and Co from Kelowna Hyundai stopped off for there first trip to Port Louis this season. Here are some of the boys showing off there catch with Adam Canning doing a rock star guide shift.
The team sure made the best of the week, bringing in a whopping amount of fish. We nearly had to bring in another helicopter just for the load.
While the team was out getting on the fish, the local staff snuck out for a little GB hunt, and low and behold.
Ingram didn’t seem that impressed though, I think she’s seen better.
This latest trip saw the return of Mike Panz, to guide a few boys out of Bellingham into the famous northern Halibut.
Mike traveled low and far in search of big Chinooks and showed Marty, Larry, Jim & Jerry a real nice time.Tim Hudson and the crew were back again for another weekday trip. Here is Ray and Tim showing the days catch in front of the beautiful backdrop of Beavis Point with guide Sean.
All in all, the last few trips have been a little less productive close to home and have had us venturing further out into the grounds. Like I said we had a ridiculous afternoon at Tian, and we have been to Hippa once already this trip. Lucky for us we have such a large and exclusive fishing grounds to explore.Until the next report, so long.Jordan Knight
