We are a remote and self-sustaining lodge producing and maintaining our own water and hydro. The maintenance person will work with all departments (kitchen, dining room, housekeeping and marine/dock) and their managers to ensure the lodge and all equipment is well maintained.
This position requires an individual with basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills. It also involves heavy lifting, work on ladders, loading and unloading freight and managing waste and recycling. The maintenance person must possess a valid class 5 driver's licence and be able operate and 2.5 ton pickup truck.

Langara Island, Haida Gwaii
We are a remote and self-sustaining fishing lodge producing and maintaining our own water and hydro. The caretaker will work on our off season under the direct or remote supervision of the Maintenance Manager. This position requires a general skill set among different faculties.
This position requires an individual who is mechanically inclined with basic carpentry, general electrical and plumbing skills. Must be able familiar with diesel generators and able to perform oil and filter changes on diesel and gas engines. This person must be self-motivated, responsible, and able to work alone for long stretches. Basic knowledge of diesel boilers and general computer skills is a plus. The caretaker must possess a valid class 5 driver's licence and recreational boating licence.
