Doug with the final preparations before the first guests arrive! With early season kicking off at The Clubhouse with vigor, we were eager to get out and test the waters. Early scouting missions had us scratching our heads but the break came when on day one of the season, when the vets led the charge back out to the Head. Tian was firing and the crew had what can only be described as an “ monster” first day on the water.

New guide to The Outpost, Clay Johnston coaching guest Kim McRae.
Clay Johnston ecstatic about Kim's catch! Currently we have the gents from Oregon Chains here enjoying the lodge to themselves. After a year at the CH, they decided they liked the solo vibe of Port Louis and have returned to enjoy the peace the OP can offer.Day one’s weather was a little incremental, but day 2 brought better weather and better fishing. That’s all for now, stay tuned for another update coming soon.CheersJordan Knight, Outpost Lodge Manager
