This September, some of Canada's Best Restaurants are setting up shop at The West Coast Fishing Club - bringing Canada's best dining and the world's best salmon fishing together at The Clubhouse in remote northern B.C. on Langara Island Haida Gwaii.

From September 1-5, we will welcome Chef Daniel Hadida and his team from Restaurant Pearl Morissette. Guests can expect one night of culinary excellence presented by Chef Hadida and his team, replicating the RPM experience in Haida Gwaii. The other two nights will maintain the high standard of excellence for which The West Coast Fishing Club's culinary program is known. On the final night, a creative collaboration between Chef Hadida and our very own Chef Blaine Robinson will bring the trip to a luxurious close, leaving you eager for more.

Located in the Niagara region of Southern Ontario, an hour drive southwest of Toronto, Restaurant Pearl Morissette reflects a contemporary farm-to-table approach, focusing on Canadian ingredients and building a "Canadian gastronomic identity." The restaurant opened in 2017 as an addition to the already established Pearl Morissette winery, emphasizing regenerative farming practices that extend into the kitchen. RPM works with local, small-scale producers and has established itself as one of Canada's best, as reflected in accolades such as being featured on Canada's 100 Best and 50 Best Discovery lists, and being awarded the Hidden Gem by La Liste.

More About Chef Daniel Hadida

Ontario-born chef Daniel Hadida originally joined Pearl Morissette as the vineyard’s chef in 2015. Inspired by the environment and the importance of small organic farming, Hadida introduced the idea of opening a restaurant at the winery, joining forces with another Ontario native who honed his skills in Europe, Eric Robertson. Prior to joining Pearl Morissette, Hadida worked in some of the world's best restaurants, including Le Châteaubriand and Septime in Paris, Pujol in Mexico City, and Central in Lima.
