wcfcviewsIts been surprisingly beautiful here for the last couple of days…
Although there is still snow in the hills…
The seas are calm, the sun is out and we all enjoyed a classic OP sunset last night. Not to be outdone by NIL’s new blogger Patrick, we’ve got our sign up and we’re getting ready for business…
The overhauled dock scale begging to be tested…so we decided an exploratory fish was in order.
Head Guide Mark Reid went out with an assortment of the startup crew to see what they could find.
THE FISH ARE HERE ladies and gents, all the usual spots are producing and producing well…
Double headers, good numbers and lots of fish around the 20 pound mark…hopefully it does nothing but improve as the season opener approaches.
Do you remember what a nice take looks like…
Bait seems to be outproducing the gear, I wonder why?…
A quick check of the prawn traps for tonights staff dinner…
I think I mentioned these were my favorite…
Hello Mr. Local, Organic, Seasonal, Free Range, Happy, Hand Caught, Sustainably Harvested, Carefully Handed, Ethically Treated, Nutrient Rich, Omega Packed, (did I forget anything?) ohh yeah…tasty little son of a gun!
Unlike the economy all early indicators in Port Louis are for a VERY positive future, I hope you bought in early as I don’t know how many OP shares are left on the HGX (Haida Gwaii Exchange).
From the sunshine in Haida Gwaii ( I can’t believe I’m saying that),
