Remembering Randy Lee

Dear friends,

It is with profound sadness that The West Coast Fishing Club announces the passing of our friend and beloved colleague, Randy Lee, who passed away on October 9th, in Victoria, BC, after a brief but aggressive battle with cancer. His treasured wife Leslie, along with his son Brett and daughter Lauren, were at his side.

Randy was the longest serving member of the WCFC sales team, joining the company in 1998 and retiring in 2019. During those twenty-plus years, he set the gold standard for WCFC’s Sales & Guest Service teams, by showcasing his exceptional passion and an unwavering work ethic.

Although he would claim that he never worked at all due to his immense love for what he did, his guests—many of whom became lifelong friends—can attest to his extraordinary dedication. He was always available to assist, regardless of the day of the week or time of day, he was always within reach.

Our family at the West Coast Fishing Club, much like you, his friends and guests, will miss Randy dearly, but we will remember the tremendous contributions he made, shaping the foundation of what we have become today.
