*John Nadeau and his 30lb tyee - great fish John!A nice 30 lb tyee was angled by John Nadeau this am for top fish of the day here at The Clubhouse. We tripped over this fish at Andrews Point at 10 am, 12 pulls on a weighted rod, slowly drifting the tide rip. John had the fish in the net in 15 minutes, and was pretty darn excited about it. We had been having a slow morning, releasing a few 12 lb fish and a couple 4 lb Coho. Thankfully we saved the shift in the third period, a nice way to head in for lunch. I think John man-hugged me twice haha.Fishing is somewhat spotty, not a lot of size around the last couple days. Plenty 8 to 16 lbers in most areas, but not much in the way of 20 lb plus Chinook. That said, Korey angled up three low to mid 20's this pm at Gunia, a quick flash but hey, right time right place.Out west it continued rough. We looked at Lacy but forget about it, hideous....south west swells, big water, no fish. Andrews and Cohoe Point have the volume, and Gunia Boulder is holding some life as well. Still no mass bait balls, eagles and whales putting on shows. Things will happen when the bait shows up by the acre.So we will see what happens tomorrow, day three of our trip. Looking forward to a fresh run of Chinook for sure. Thanks for checking in.Mike Tonnesen, Head Guide, Screamer
