The northwesterly winds have shown up and are quite relentless, but once again most of the guests gave it their all today and braved the waters of the North Pacific for the booty it offers!!!
Myles managed to track down some fish and had Tara’s, Chef Paul and Larry’s(Paul’s dad) Chinook limit’s before lunch.
The group decided to have a nice beach lunch and top up on vitamin D!
Paul was trying to make a tune on the Bull Kelp Horn, from what I heard he should give up the horn playing and stick to what he is excellent at, creating amazing food!!
They went on a bit of an adventure and tracked down a few different mushrooms, these are hedgehog mushrooms, they also found yellow foot, and winter chanterelles. They were quite tasty!!!
Here is Gnocchi with sautéed mushrooms and a sliver of Parmesan cheese! Yum Yum!!!
Pappa D is cleaning this nice little hali while Wallace watches in amazement at Pete’s knife wielding skills. Check out these beautiful Coho fillets that will be enjoyed at home!!!
Hannah took advantage of a calm night the other evening and went for a SUP paddle. Living on the edge and not wearing a wet suit!!
Another Krud match was held the other night at The OP and finally the jacket went to the person it was tailored for…. I WON!!! The first of many victories to come, I can sense it!!!
The northwesterly winds usually bring blue skys during the day and clear starry nights. Cody snapped this interesting shot. Check out the stars!!
Good night and good luck fishing everyone.
