Well it felt like summer for a few glorious hours today...
Herb and Brian went comatose after lunch, a crib game and some bird watching.
The rest of the crowd relaxed in the sunlight...in a way thats only possible in the wildest of places...
I missed some fun shots from yesterday that I want to post...
Guide Pete rigs a herring as another boat battles a salmon off the "fish hook" reef.
"Ol' Yeller" (Guide Chris) hoists a nice Chinook into the boat with John and John...
And Mike got this great shot of a Chinook on the line...
Back to the present...the boys posing for afternoon pre-fish photo...
Below Chris catches his first ever salmon...
Rodney is all smiles...
Herb silhouetted by the sun...
An Albatross was riding the wind...
...and back at the cleaning station Sam and Peter talk about halibut...
Fishing slowed today as the wind picked up, boats had to work a little harder to find fish.
But it was glorious to have some sun and celebrate the afternoon light with a cocktail...
Dawn, Herb, Doug and Mike toasting another day in paradise.
Finally at meet and greet tonight the Krud jacket found its way back home...
...for now...with so many sharks in the water nobody is safe in the green jacket.
