With the North Island Lodge entirely prepared and a few minutes to spare the 2012 North Island team poses for a quick photo op. I don’t know how you do it Walt. While DJ might have reigning title for best seat on Langara Island I think head Chef Walter Pelliccia has him beat. “Luckiest man on Langara!?” It’s that Italian accent isn’t it?
Top left to right. (Jared, Brent, Pat, Steve, Todd, DJ, Young Nick, Drew, Jona, Tanner)
Second row. (Celina, Sam, Shannon, Leah, Christy, Nick and Chef Walter Pelliccia)
And back by popular demand Celina Bettesworth! After a quick trip to Nicaragua during the off season; Celina has returned to work as our registered first aid attendant, store manager and aspiring photographer .. Her photos are stunning and we hope to receive more to add to the blog as the season progresses. Thanks Celina!
Just for you bird watchers. Humming bird shot taken from the back deck of North Island Lodge ..
Another bird touches down at North Island. A Sikorsky S76 helicopter on approach.
Client services and Sales representative Randy Lee dropped in for a visit today to welcome in a few of his long term guests to start off the 2012 season. While Randy works mainly from his office in Victoria BC, He expressed his excitement in meeting a number of guests who he’s spoken with for years but hasn’t had the chance to say meet in person.
Randy is always available to help with all WCFC booking inquiries and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Great to see you again Randy!
North Island GM Todd McIntyre has prepared what has been nick named the “salmonour”. Guests will have an opportunity to learn some of the fine workings, tips and tricks in improving angling skills during the course of their trip. Great opportunity to learn from one of Langara Island’s most experienced fisherman. Periodically throughout the season I will attempt to incorporate the teachings of Todd McIntyre into the blog to share with our readers. Stay tuned!
Displaying Langara Island charts onto the lodge flat screen, GM Todd Mcintyre has decided to rename Beal cove to something more appropriate …
