The water has been a bit lumpy this past week at the OP, we had westerly winds which are the worst. Our usual fishing tacks run north, south so with the westerly we are constantly in the “trough” and getting tossed around!
Despite the nasty winds we have finally caught a respectable fish.
Bill and Myles landed this 40lber yesterday, what a nice fish. Good work Bill.
Jay caught this nice 32lber.
Mark Also caught a 32lber but didn’t get a photo. The big ones are starting to show up!!
Scott landed a nice Coho this week, a 13lber, biggest of the year so far!
This Chinook was topped right up on herring, a tail was sticking out of its gullet when Ol' Yeller brought the fish on board! 4 herring plus the one it was trying to eat.... What a glutton!
From fish food(a little nasty looking) to scrumptious human food!!
Paul and Steph created this wonderful dish. House Smoked Salmon, Kushi Oysters, Butternut Squash, Salal Blossoms and Raspberries. Yes please, I will take two!!!
In other news at the OP….. Jordan wins again….. 4th win in KRUD. This time he beat out myself and guest Tim for first place. Kenny B you may be our only hope to crush this dominant force!!
From the OP, Tight lines
