Panama a day in Colon
April 27, 2011Panama Update: as we wait for passage through the canal we watch the action in the harbour and start to prepare the ship.
The amount action and containers moving through this port everyday is amazing…
…not to mention the size and variety of craft. Around the Pacific provider we’ve had a few guests as well…
The authorities have come and gone to inspect the ship for passage and quarantine. We passed but still await our customs clearance. On board we’re starting to set up for our final destination in Punta Coco…
The tent on the upper deck is up, the ship washed and looking good, Bud, Chris, Larry Tobey and Michael enjoy a moment.
The lounge looks lovely in the afternoon sun.
Tobey toys around with some potential tap handles.
The rods and reels are spooled and ready for action
The dining room tries out some different configurations.
Chef Michael wasn’t as happy as he looked because Real Madrid lost to Barcelona today. Screamer was happy to moisturize after a long day of work in the sun…
The new cutlery made its first appearance…
The staterooms are made up…
and tonight we had our first tropical downpour…
I’d say that a pretty full day.
See you tomorrow
