Outpost Update June 21 ~ "Tyee Time!!"

An excited group joined us at The Outpost for trip 4 . They soon realized the bite was still on as they caught spring after spring out at 3 Rocks.

*Brian Hempstead and Lee Lott with a nice spring Salmon.Lee and Brian also went out halibut fishing and it paid off handsomely.

*Mmmmmm fish and chips.

*Nice! Great job Lee and guide Myles Panz. Thank you Brian Hempstead for the nice pictures..In the meantime, in a boat not too far away, Rory North and Mons Kapoor were testing some new techniques. I even heard rumors of home made fishing lures with intricate designs being used to catch heaps of spring Salmon. More on the subject to follow.

*Big Carl shaking off another pesky spring!Although everyone got heaps of springs and more than enough Halibut to keep the freezer well stocked, the highlight of the trip came on the last afternoon. Angler Liz Mullins stumbled across a 30 lbs tyee trying to catch a Coho with a coyote spoon!! Maybe her guide Andrew Matheson knows something we don't! Well done Tim and Liz. What a flawless looking fish.
