Fishing report, June 30th: Most guests focused on Salmon in the morning and hali’s in the afternoon, both were successful. A total of 18 Chinooks were retained and/or released between the 6 boats, the biggest of which was 25lbs and 7 halibut were brought in 5 over 50 lbs and 3 over 100lbs one of which was over 200 lbs. Mike Powell deserves special mention for releasing a 200+ pound fish today, pictured here this am with Me, Chris and our combination of Coho and Chinook:
Stacey and Steve had the first LARGE hail of the day weighing in at 73lbs
Stacey was also into a couple of monsters yesterday with Eric and Kevin, below was a great "on the water" shot of the action
Only Stacey can hoist up a fish like that, here’s how they got it into the boat…
Panzer (Mike Panz) followed suit by harpooning a 117lb fish today
and back on the dock ken and Chris took some time to appreciate how beautiful the meat is from these wild west coast fish. A great day for all and its only day 2 of the trip!
