The Steve Kasteler Exclusive group of guests spent their eleventh season at The Outpost enjoying spectacular weather and great fishing! It seems every time this group rolls into town the sun comes out and the seas remain calm. It’s always a pleasure to spend a weekend with you gentlemen.
Mark Davis, coached by guide Steve (The Log) Cote, got things rolling when he caught his 31 lb Chinook off of Hippa Island in 80 feet of water. Mark also landed a 73 lb Hali at Taylor Shoals in 220 feet of water. Carl Rodrigue, coached by Kevin (Kermode) Sturgess, caught a 74 lb Hali at Taylor Shoals in 187 feet of water. The group overall caught over 30 Chinook…..Oh and by the way Team USA, there will be a basketball rematch in 09….our star player Wayne (Steve Nash) White is trading in his rubber boots for a pair of running shoes…..so beware…..have a great summer!
