OUTPOST UPDATE: The weather broke today and everyone to took a trip down to Hippa to spend the full day on the water. At lunch the boys rafted up together on anchor and had a floating picnic…
It looked like a fun time and a great break from watching the rod tip…
After lunch some went for salmon others focused on Hali, here’s an on the water shot of Zeke and his nice Coho…
They’re getting close to 10 pounds already, so I’d expect some of them to be in the high teens by the end of the summer. There was some excellent hali action today, here’s Greg, Bruce and their assortment of salmon and Halis…
Randy brought home a nice 52 pound fish and also released a monster 175lber. Congrats Randy! He earned a very nice 100+ pound release pin.
For those of you coming in tomorrow here’s how it all goes down:
The chopper lands…
We do the switch…
And the fleet will be waiting to take you fishing right after brunch…
Fishing has been challenging; 7 Chinook to the dock today, 10 halibut and a variety of ling and rockfish. Weather has been a large factor as well as a commercial fleet fishing outside Port Louis. Each day is a new day and BIG fish are around so lets get an OUTPOST entry into this SSC.
Changeover tomorrow!
