Its changeover day at the Outpost, the new guests have finished dinner and are curertnly engaged in what appears to be a friendly game of poker. The weather kicked up today and most of the guides stuck close to the lodge and fished around Brock Island. Chinook fishing was slow with only a couple of fish coming in this afternoon but there appears to be plenty of Coho around.
The day went to the rookie fisherman, Phillip caught his first ever Salmon and biggest of the day at 17 lbs
Dennis was a close second with his first salmon at 14lbs
Fishing in the morning tends to be a more productive and the guides are hoping this weather change is going to shake things up. As always we’re keen to hit the water tomorrow and hoping the Outpost can release a contender for the Spring Salmon Challenge.
