HOLY HALIBUT – Satyrday fishing report!
There have been some monster halibut hitting the Outpost dock this trip. Pictured above is a 150+ fish before release at 3pm this afternoon. Below is a picture of Steven Davis’ 105lber from yesterday.
And then Steven’s Grandfather and long time WCFC angler Mike Garcia tried to chased down Clay’s 140 from Friday falling a touch short at 135lbs, photo’s and story to be told tomorrow by grandson Josh Garcia.
All these fish get eclipsed by “Bamboo” Bob’s 225 lber!!!!
“We need a bigger scale!”
The salmon fishing continues to be eratic but there were roughly 20+ chinooks retained and/or released today most in the high teens or low 20’s. Seas were reasonable and the afternoon was bright and sunny…everyone is dreaming of what tomorrow brings. As Bamboo Bob exclaimed “only the fish know but they’re not talking”.
Good night from the Outpost.
