The Outpost Report: June 18, 2010

June 18, 2010

OUTPOST UPDATE: Changeover today at the Outpost we said goodbye to our friends from Kimberly Homes…

Johnny, Joe, Steve, Ray, Jamie, Tom, Bob, Jason, Dave, Charlie, Gary, Mike, Garry and Clem, have a safe trip home and hope to see you next summer.

We said hello today to Connacher Oil and Gas and The Montana Refining Company who got out on the water and came back with some nice fish. Starting with the team of Peter and Steven who had the largest Chinooks of the day…

A 25 and a 23 pounder, well done! This was Steve’s first salmon ever so a big day for him. They were closely followed by Mike who got a 22lber of his own…

Welcome back Mike, that’s a good start to the trip! To add some variety Kelly brought in a nice halibut and a 15lb lingcod…

Those will make excellent fillets to take home.

It was a beautiful sunny day today with some moderate NW winds. Fishing has been best in the morning so up and at ‘em tomorrow!

See you then.
