OUTPOST UPDATE: It was like a lineup at the border today, JP was 4 totes deep in a wait to the scale…

Anything to declare JP? Average wait times were up to 2.5 hours and will that be vacpak or seapak for you today? Any duty free? JP know how’s to avoid problems at the scale; just smile and wait. The sea settled like a pancake today and so did the fog. Boats went anywhere and everywhere while the planes and helicopters couldn’t go an inch.

There was lots of success on the water starting with Kate Ann and Rod who got a load of fish…

Kate Ann’s Chinook was the bigger at 24 lbs. Then onto Tammy and Don who likewise had an excellent day…

First timer Tammy getting the biggest Chinook of the day at 27lbs. isn’t that always the way? JP and his crew of Tony and Dennis created an impressionist painting on the dock with all their colours…

Ken (seen here with Bruce) kept on smiling with a fish he caught by mooching a cut plug herring head. That’s right after seeing how many fish had herring heads inside them he fished with one and was delighted by the amount of action he received…

Meanwhile Dennis kept upping the ante and graduated to a 25lb Chinook…

Jackson and Jamie Kennedy ended up with matching Cohos to take back to Toronto…

If you visit Jamie’s restaurant in the next week you might just get a little taste of the OP in TO.
