The sun appeared and it feels so good to have those rays brighten up the lodge and all the faces in Port Louis. Unfortunately it also brought some wind with it…
Fishing was a little tougher in the wind as was the ride home this morning from fishing down south. Highlights so far included the biggest salmon of the morning caught by Scott, seen here on the water with Frank
It hit the scales at 28 lbs, a really nice fish, we all thought it was going to hit the TYEE range
Pierre and Kevin teamed up to catch this beauty…
But when you fish with a French guide you have to kiss on both sides
I think its love? Today’s wildcard fish was the first salmon caught, touched on the head and released after lunch. At 2:25pm it was Mike who took thursday’s prize and pictured here this morning looking a little waterlogged after a splashy ride home, seen with his monster 20lb snapper.
Geoff decided to hang back in the lodge and let the others brave the wind this afternoon, its windy, sunny and we’ve offered to take the gang for a hike or surf if they decide to come in early…either way we’ve got the hot tub refilled and cold drinks ready.
