Snapshots from the Outpost Dock: A misty morning start to a full fishing day
Wonder why fishing guides wear hoodies all day? It protects their ears from the sun…can you recognize who this belongs to?
A Coho, distinguished by its distinctive white gums and silvery sides with few if any black spots.
A pair of perfect take home Halibut around the 50 lb mark…their bodies fit together in an almost perfect Yin-Yang pattern…
On the way back up to the lodge watch out for Brock-Zilla (the Outpost’s VP of rodent control, actual name is Brock, named after Brock Island) who likes to take up most of the walk off matt on the stairs, .he’s always hungry and will eat ANYTHING regardless of size…if he can get himself up or if you come in range of those paws…
Elan Head; OP guest July 13-17, Helicopter Pilot and Editor in Chief of Vertical 911 magazine contributed this drawing of Brockzilla vs his arch nemesis Hali-bot in a epic struggle for Outpost domination…note “Pickles” the deer is about to be squashed under the horrendous weight of Brockzilla’s left paw
