Yesterday and today were filled with some species that we dont see every day.
First up is the Fur Seal. Big Fish Ben, Alex and Al had this little guy following them for an hour. In my 4 seasons at The Outpost, I have only seen one, they are super curious and are always trying to check you out!
Next on the strange list is a Wolf Eel, not as cute and cuddly as the seal, Dave and Carl landed one while Halibut fishing two days ago.
Debbie and Pappa D caught another one yesterday....
These things are so NASTY, they give me the Heebie Jeebies just looking at the picture!!
What a Tail!!! This Hali measured 74 inches, an estimated 220lbs!!The chinook fishing has been UNREAL!!
Here is Debbie and Larry with todays haul.
The "Trio of generations" with a "Trio of Fish"!! Al, Sam and Darrel had a swell day on the water......
Thomas took the cheese with the biggest fish of the day, this Chinook was 30lbs on the nose!! Nice work, and welcome to the most exclusive club Thomas..... The Tyee Club!Everyone was played out today, Thomas had to catch a little shut eye in the boat.....
I think he is teetering on the edge or disaster!!! Good thing Grandpa was there to make the catch if needed!KRUD.... Jamie from the Kimberly Homes group was reluctant to give up the green jacket but we managed to scrape it off his back just before he jumped onto the helicopter ..... This trips winner goes back to an Outpostian...
Pappa D comes up with his first victory of the season, I think that face is a "How You Doing" face..... Congrats......... I will get it next time!!!
Good night from the OP, Enjoy our sunset..... the picture never does it justice!!!!Marky Mark
