The Delta group unwillingly said adios to The Outpost for another year as the next group jumped off the helicopter with wide grins plastered across their faces in anticipation of what the next few days will bring. The weather was not all that kind on Friday but Saturday was a little bit better and a few boats ventures into the rough and rugged seas in search for the elusive Oncorhynchus tshawytscha.
Anglers, Peter and Bill, decided to fish close to home in the calmer waters and managed to scrounge up Peters first ever Chinook Salmon. With a bruised knuckle and a big smile he proudly holds these tasty looking fillets. Nobody was happier at the OP.Father and son team, Dave and Dave Jr., linked up with Pappa D in hopes if finding a lunker, and lunker they found!
Of coarse Dad caught the biggest of the day, a nice Tyee, 31lbs.
Dave Jr. holds up this nice 27lbr.Ol' Yeller went out hali fishing with Gary and Art. they brought in a nice pair of halis but Ol' Yeller let one slip between the dock and the boat..... I guess he wanted to try and emulate the way that some people fish for catfish in Oklahoma.... with their hands!!
Ol' Yeller stripped down and went for a little swim.
Cold, Check...
Out of breath, Check....
Grateful to be out of the frigid depths and proud of his catch, Check...Until next timeFrom The OP,Marky Mark
