Look at the 45 degree corners on that new Helipad!!! Thanks to Ronne and Brian for slaving away for days on end to make that pad better than it was before!!
Here we have Gary, Pat and Emrah prepping themselves for their first afternoon on the H2O.
I dont know who was more stoked to catch a fish, Fish Face Emrah or Myles Panz, one of our rookie guides. Its hard to tell from this angle, but if you have been a frequent blog follower for the past few years, you should be able to recognize that “Panz nose” from past years…. Myles is Mikes younger brother. Mike Panz was a long time fishing guide at the Outpost. Myles is hoping top his brothers records at the OP this season, which will not be that hard to do!!!! I will be sure to let everyone know who I think is a better fisherman by the end of the year…. Big bro or little bro?? My thoughts right now…. little bro, and only for one reason…. I am a younger brother and everyone knows younger brothers are better at everything……
Big Fish Ben our Head Guide this year was showing the boys the waters this afternoon. Dave has decided to release all fish this trip and in doing so West Coast Fishing Club will give him a gift box of fish weighing about 20lbs for his conservation efforts! Way to go Dave. Our hopes at WCFC are for lots of guests to follow in his tracks, we want to keep the salmon swimming in these waters for many year to come!!
The first full group shot of the season with a wonderful spread of Smoked Salmon Eggs Benny prepared by Chef Paul and Stephanie!! Bon Appetit gentleman.
The biggest spring retained today was 29lbs, not quite a tyee but there were talks of a few lunkers that were lost… fish stories… who knows!!! Maybe tomorrow…..
Good night from one of the best places on earth,
