Lets start today with a photo from sent in by Grant (from last week) of Brad's 46 (released in the bay)...
Guide Gordie has his hands full, great looking fish!
Fishing was excellent yesterday, the "fish-hook" reef being a hot spot for a number of solid hours. A spot discovered by last year's "Shimano-Dano".
Boats couldn't keep lines in the water at the reef, it was silly. The fish weren't huge, mostly 15-20 but LOTS of them. To give you an idea my boat was out for 2 hours at the reef hooked 15 fish and landed and released 11...my guest had enough so we went in. There were 6 tyees caught and three of which were released topping out at 35 pounds.
Photos from the dock today...
Guide Mark, Darren and Woody with a 26, 33 and 35..they released dozens of others and then went out to catch halibut in the afternoon.
Perry guide Sam and Andy had a full day with great fishing...enough that guide Sam brought home one of each for himself...
The smiles tell that story.
Lucky Ken Nguyen (released the 46 yesterday) and guide Chris show off a 32 pound Tyee...
Paul and Charlie with a couple of nice take home fish, Charlie releasing a 33 today...
Betsy and Tony pose for a portrait in the liquid sunshine.
A full day!
