Outpost Update ~ June 18 "Hold on"

June 19, 2012

Changeover day at the Outpost had us saying goodbye to some loyal Outpostians...

Thanks to Kelly, Tim, Tim, Bernie, Grant, Dean, Steve, Dickie, Brad, Mike, Steve, Jim, Kevin, Craig and Troy. Two fish in the high 40's and another 35...although the weather wasn't great we made the most of it...hope to see you all again soon.

The weather continued to be turbulent and Betsy demonstrated how you had to hold on to what you could out there...

Looks like you've done this before Betsy!

Despite the challenges there were smiles on the dock, below are guide Sam and Andrew...

Highlights included OP guide Gordie and David keeping our Tyee streak alive today with this 30 pounder (thats at least 1 tyee a day since opening)...

I wonder what salmon breath smells like?

Up top the usual treats were served...

...tonights appy was a seared BC Albacore tuna.

The clouds parted and it was a lovely evening to enjoy while eating dinner...

Just another day with friends and family in this wet, temperate and at times windy paradise.
