July 15, 2011 | 1359 Views
Lets being with the bare essentials…
Steve Panz leads a group of merry men into the blue last night… revealing at the last minute there was going to be nothing between him and the ocean.
For the “dippers” there were some hearty chuckles in the hot tub afterwards…
participants included Terry, Euro-Fred, Steve, Brandan and Papa Bear.
Brandan showing off his muscles before the dip…
It was a fine end to a successful day on the water…
Brandan with his second Tyee of the trip…a 32
The Valedictorian and his side kick Flemming show off a broad assortment…only the most skillful anglers can accomplish this in a morning.
Guide Adam finally breaks his OP Tyee cherry with this 32 lber for John and Trey. The monkey’s off your back Adam…time to open those flood gates.
The Panzer division along with Euro-Fred show off a few halis
If Euro-Fred wasn’t overwhelmed enough already he didn’t know that there was a Halibut lift competition at the end of the trip…don’t worry Fred there’s always next year and a bronze metal is still pretty good.
Guide Chuckles proved particularly talented at finding random large halibut…
Lets end today with Rebecca’s Triple Chocolate Terrine…
Ohh boy!

I don’t know about Brandan as he seems to be really fitting in with the geezers. Way too comfortable for the guy. Neat stuff. I would expect a regular at the lodge in years to come and maybe starting as dock rat at one of your lodges to start and then into guiding. Mention to him to start with the free weights when he returns home to pack on some muscle stuff on that lean frame. Cool kid. Nice to see “new blood” in some of these groups. I fished HaaNeeNaa on Dundas again in mid June,,,great fishing but we had 3 father and son pairs that the sons had never been there before. Fun.
