Outpost Update: It was a typical Haida Gwaii morning; fog, mist, rain, cloud and chilly. The team set to work moving the 650 Lb reverse osmosis maching 500 meters from the Helipad up to the lodge…what a riot! Afterwards our hard working crew from Masset flew home to catch the hockey game…
From left to right; Bryan, Ronne, Milan, Jordan, Cakes, Doug, Ken, Robert, Sean, Mike, Hoops, Linden, Justine, Kaili & Travis. Thanks for the great effort and hope we can get you out here again.
Speaking of flying…
I’ve had a special friend visiting daily…I waited all summer last year for such a visit and it never came. Maybe its a spring thing (or fling), any of our followers know anything about these cool little creatures?
In need of a break the crew took a couple of hours to explore their summer home this evening…
Linden enjoys a moment to herself
everyone takes a breather; Rebecca (Chef), Milan (Dock trainer), Justine (Front of house), Linden (dock in training), Jordan (Exec. Chef), Kaili (Inside trainer)…thats right fans I’m sorry to say she’s here for a good time not a long time. With a new design job with the hot Vancouver label Arc’teryx…Kaili has been stolen from us this summer. She’s here to train some of the new staff but sadly will be gone by the time you arrive.
Lastly tonight a “hello” to our WCFC friends down south, we miss you at the OP and enjoy your blogs. We’ll do our best to try and break Panama Chef Michael’s 57.7 lb Chinook from last summer and match your pictures with some beauties of our own.
Goodnight from the OP,
