A quick report to keep you in the know as I’m just headed down the ramp to suit up a play the guide roll for the first time this season. This morning saw a little south east chop out at Cohoe Point but it hasn’t stopped the Chinook from rolling in. No tyee’s in a couple of days but quite a few fish in the upper twenties hitting the dock this morning.
Matt, Brent and Tyson have found some nice east side chickens lately 20-50lb range. Matt figures he’s cornered the market on this fishery. He was so fired up at lunch he was spitting out cookie bits while letting us all know he found the spot. What he lacks in table manners he makes up on the fishing grounds and any of you thinking of hitting the hali grounds, this is one guy to follow.
Well should get the rain gear on. Currently a little wet out there but the fishing continues to be consistent. I’m going to explore today and get out of the crowd. A little birdy told we there’s fish there too!
