North Island Lodge "Endless Summer"

Approaching the home stretch here for us at North Island Lodge. Things really couldnt be better. The weather over the last two trips has been unreal .. calm seas sunshine and Chinooks. With bait-fish stacked in along the north west shore line of Graham Island all the way to Cape Knox fish "The fish bowl" has been producing some very decent fish.

My good friend Bobby Hoogsteen and his friends from Thunder Bay had an excellent trip. I had a chance to fish with Bill and Berry and while Bill brought up a watermelon apex that we used .... It was "accidentally" shook it off with along with a smaller coho sorry Bill!! It took some convincing but we got Bill fishing cut plug herring and it didnt take long to get him into some nice Chinooks. Bob pictured below on the last morning of his trip with us and his 36lb tyee. Take care Bob hope to see you and Kevin next year!

The Patel boys hammered the tar out of them on the first trip to North Island Lodge .. Guide Brent Gallacher once again creamin out the fleet with his list of tyees ... Ashwin Patel and Brent posing with this 32lb chinook .. we didnt get a picture but Roshan Patel had a nice release of a 42. Great job on the release Roshan!

With our contour HD cam mounted on an old fishing net pole I was able to get some cool shots ... here is a sneak peak!
