The Outpost is a land based resort that was built to be "the Outpost" to The Clubhouse and to offer guests access to a location that would not otherwise be accessible. The lodge is perfectly situated on the reaches of the west coast of Haida Gwaii and provides an experience like no other fishing lodge.
The Outpost was built to give anglers access to a fishery that provides vast numbers of salmon and monster halibut within 15 minutes of the dock. There are many other ways to spend your trip as you explore the coastal rainforest surroundings.

North Island Lodge Overview
The North Island Lodge is Langara Island's floating palace. Located just off the northern tip of Canada's Haida Gwaii islands, North Island Lodge is perfectly situated to deliver the world's best fishing experience.
The secret is our location; moored directly over the fishing grounds, staying on our floating lodge allows you to have lines in the water, just 10 minutes from leaving the dock! Situated on the edge of the Continental Shelf on Canada's northwestern tip, Langara Island fishing is beyond compare. This particular area of Langara Island is a feeding ground for millions of salmon and halibut, that gather each year to feast on the schools of herring and other bait fish which come here to spawn each spring.

Booking Your Flight
To connect with our charter flight to the Island from Panama City, we ask that you arrive the night before your scheduled trip date to ensure that there are no misconnections or delays.
There are a number of US carriers flying to Panama City: Continental, Delta Air Lines, and American Airlines and the major hubs servicing Panama with daily flights from the US are: Houston, Atlanta and Miami.
If you are connecting from Canada, you will have to fly either through one of these hubs, or take one of the newly established direct flights from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton. The carriers in Canada are Copa Airlines and Air Transat.
Connecting from South America, there are a number of flights to Panama. Most flights are operated by Copa Airlines.

Transfer Fee:
There is a Transfer Fee of $250.00 per person. The Transfer Fee includes VIP host meet and greet at the airport, transportation to and from airports and hotels on both legs of your journey and round trip airfare from Panama City to the Island.
