Panama: Home Sweet Home
June 3, 2011After a few days in Panama City to pick up our beautiful brand new 37′ game boat and take care of some business, we are back in paradise at Punta Coco…
This is our new family member – more photos tomorrow!
I LOVE Panama City, but I couldn’t wait to get back here on the ship. It’s good to be home!
(and yes, this is our backyard)
Our new guests arrive to a bit of weather, but nothing will stop them from getting out to hit the water…they are solid Canadians and seasoned Haida Gwaii fishermen – a little rain won’t stop these guys (even after a crazy night in Panama City)…
A short trip away, the local waters yield dorado, amberjack, and ROOOOOOOSTERS!
Look how ridiculously happy these guys are!
Look at this beautiful creature – easy to understand why roosters are such a prized game fish…Nice one Ron!
Some sweet amberjack action for Randy and Ken…
A little kiss for my darling…keep it PG baby!
And later in the evening…
Here’s Ron telling another crazy story and keeping everyone entertained. Thanks Ron!
Tomorrow these guys are headed out for some billfish – hope they can concentrate with the big game tomorrow night! I think I saw tears come to their eyes when Lindsay told them our satellite TV will have the playoff game on tomorrow.
GO CANUCKS GO!!
Best of luck to all the crew up north for opening – you guys are amazing! Love seeing photos of the Outpost (thanks Kenny B) – here’s a big shout out to the 2011 staff at the OP. We miss you all and wish we could be in 2 places at once!
Lindsay Davis sends her love to her NIL family during startup. She is happy to have traded socks and foul weather gear for bikinis and flip flops and is suffering deeply with all the sun and fun in our tropical paradise. Linds is doing an amazing job bringing the WCFC style to Panama and breaking hearts left, right, and center!
