Panama's Newest Fishing Resort • Opening 2011
Another great day of fishing here in the big Panamanian blue...
Birds, dolphins, and jumping fish always a good sign...
The Pardini duo managed to snag an impressive array of species today - here is a prime Cubera snapper (one of my favorite for eating!)...
..a pompano for Diego...also a great one for the dinner table...
Juan's focus is razor sharp as his aching muscles pull in yet another yellowfin.
Below with the day's haul...
To summarise the list of species, in 2 days of fishing:
SAILFISH, TUNA, CUBERA SNAPPER, BONITO, JACK, DORADO, POMPANO, and another one they call "THE PAN BREAKER" because it tastes so awful (they released that one!).
Pretty amazing!
Diego - usually more of a meat eater, even enjoyed feasting on his catch...but who could resist this?
BELOW: Plantain wrapped yellowfin tuna with garlic-plantain puree and green mango ribbons (mangoes from the island right here!)
Diego is already planning his next trip here soon!
Goodnight from Paradise,
Tobey.
