Name that fish!

Caught during the June 20-24th trip at North Island Lodge. So far no one knows what species this is?

Use your marine biology skills and win a fleece!

Ahhhh....very cool. That's actually a prowfish (Zaprora silenus). A beautiful fish, and one of the better pics that I have seen. Wish I was up there to see it in the flesh!

Christina Masef has correctly identified this rather homely looking species as a Prowfish or Zaprora silenus - AFSC/RACE - Prowfish, Zaprora silenus. Congrats, Christina !!

that would be an amphiprion ratiscula - Plato Clownfish. How do I get my fleece?
