The Sula Sula is a species of bird endemic to the Pearl Islands. It is also a yellow hulled, classically lined 40 foot Gamefisherman Captained by Jose Gongora. It’s been a great week here at North Island. The Tyee’s , and number of releases, continue to grow. Langara is now officially infested with Chinook salmon! You can walk out to Coho point on they're backs I swear! Ridiculous fishing, Chinooks averaging 20 lbs, one after another and looks like it is continuing today. Our first fifty was released today, 51 lbs, as June continues to be extremely productive fishing. The weather is sunny, calm winds, flat seas, and Chinook salmon everywhere! Opening Day is tomorrow and things are looking great up at Langara! The fish are biting and things are in shape as we await our first guests of the season.
