BC Tidal Waters Fishing Guide

Fish Limits
There have been no changes to the salmon limits for anglers in BC waters. Current limits are:

- 8 salmon total possession limit per trip; no more than 4 of which may be chinook
- 2 chinook per person per day, to possession limit of 4
- 4 coho/sockeye/chum/pink per person per day, to possession limit of 8

There have been some changes to the halibut possession limit for anglers in BC waters this year. The new limit is 2 halibut per person, per day to a maximum possession limit of 2. Check the Department of Fisheries and Oceans website for halibut limits:
